Events:

We are always participating in a range of events - from beer festivals to food and drinks festivals, seminars and tasting evenings. Some of our upcoming events are outlined below.

October Events:

Slow Food Feast - O'Brien's Chop House in association with Ballymaloe Cookery School

O'Brien's Chop House, Lismore October 21st

Once again we are teaming up with the guys in O'Brien's Chop House for their Slow Food Feast, showcasing the best of local food and producers - we will be providing samples of our beers on the night as well as having them feature as ingredients on the menu. Waterford United - Player of the Month

RSC, Waterford October 21st

We will be joining our friends at the Blues Supporters Club for the final home game of the season at the RSC and presenting our final Player of the Month award - look out for two special mascots on the night too!

Bord Bia - Irish Farmhouse Cheese and Craft Beer Weekend

During the October Bank Holiday Weekend, Bord Bia aims to raise awareness of the breadth of Irish farmhouse cheeses and craft beers available to consumers by initiating the Irish Farmhouse Cheese and Craft Beer Weekend. At present, there are 50 farmhouse cheese makers in Ireland producing over 140 varieties of cheese and 15 craft brewers producing over 40 beers. Both crafts are not just about the flavour but also the people, personalities, places and stories behind them.

To celebrate this, there will be a host of Irish craft beer and cheese events taking place throughout the country which we will be participating in, and many more that will feature our beers. We will be participating in the following events:

'Tasty Table Quiz' with Waterford Festival of Food

The Mororings Bar, Dungarvan October 27th

Join us and the county's cheese producers - Knockanore Cheese, Knockalara Sheeps Cheese and Triskel Goats Cheese as we present an interactive table quiz in association with the Waterford Festival of Food - lots of tasty tips and treats from producers and a foodie quiz with lots of beer and cheese elements! Tickets are €40 for a table of 4 and available from The Moorings.

Beer and Cheese evening at Shortt's Bar, Castlemartyr

Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, October 27th

A beer and cheese pairing evening at the infamous Pat Shortt's Bar in Castlemartyr - chef Mike Hanrahan will be creating delicious treats using local produce and craft cheeses which will be paired with our beers - great craic guaranteed!

Irish craft beer and cheese tasting with Sheridan's Cheesemongers

Ardkeen Quality Foodstore, October 28th

We will once again be teaming up with Sheridan's Cheesemongers to present an evening of pairing craft beers with craft cheeses at Ardkeen Quality Foodstore in Waterford - guided tasting session to help you understand which beer styles pair best with the wonderful Irish farmhouse cheeses available. Beer and Cheese tasting at the Milk Market, Limerick

Milk Market, Limerick, October 29th

In association with Smyth's Bar, Limerick and Country Choice, we will be participating in a beer and cheese tasting at Limerick's famous Milk Market on Saturday 28th of October, again pairing beers with the wonderful farmhouse cheeses available at the market.
